Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 9 December 2025
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of services, digital content, and products provided by Amethyst IT Solutions LTD (“we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing our website, subscribing to our services, or purchasing products from us, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our services, website, or purchase products from us.
1. Applicability and Scope
These Terms apply to all services and products offered by Amethyst IT Solutions LTD, including digital subscription services such as the Daisuke Discord bot premium tiers, device repair services conducted at our workshop or via postal delivery, and the sale of refurbished consumer devices, whether sold directly through our website or via online marketplaces including eBay. Additional contracts or agreements, such as repair authorisations, subscription agreements, or marketplace terms, may apply to specific services. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any additional agreement, the provisions of the additional agreement will take precedence in relation to that service.
2. Acceptance and Formation of Contract
By accessing our website, using our services, or purchasing products, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms. In certain cases, such as agreeing to a repair quote or subscribing to a digital service, your explicit acceptance forms a binding contract between you and Amethyst IT Solutions LTD. Where such acceptance is required, no service will commence until such acceptance has been obtained.
3. Electronic Communications
By communicating with us electronically, whether through our website, email, Stripe, or other approved methods, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. All agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications provided electronically will satisfy any legal requirement for written communication.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on our website, including but not limited to software, text, images, and logos, is owned by Amethyst IT Solutions LTD or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights. No rights or licences are granted to you to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercialise any such content except where expressly permitted by law or by prior written agreement.
5. Third-Party Content and Links
Our website may contain links to websites operated by third parties. We do not monitor or control the content or practices of such websites and are not responsible for any goods, services, or content offered through them. Your use of third-party websites is entirely at your own risk, and we disclaim all liability in relation to such use.
6. Accounts and Age Requirements
Certain services may require you to provide personal information via Stripe or other payment processors. This information may result in the creation of a customer account to facilitate billing and service delivery. Services such as digital subscriptions and repairs are restricted to individuals aged 18 or over, or to those with prior parental or guardian consent. Refurbished products may be purchased by persons of any age.
7. Responsible Use
You agree to use our website and services in a lawful and responsible manner, in accordance with generally accepted online practices. You must not introduce malicious software, engage in unauthorised data collection, conduct unsolicited marketing, or interfere with the functionality or availability of our website.
8. Digital Subscriptions
Subscriptions to digital services, including Daisuke Discord bot premium tiers, are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis and are delivered immediately upon successful payment. You retain the statutory right to cancel the subscription within 14 days of purchase. To exercise this right, you must notify us:
- By email: [email protected]
- Via our online contact form: https://shm.jov.mybluehost.me/contact
- Through the customer portal provided by Stripe: https://billing.stripe.com/p/login/bIYbKo2BvaqHafC000
Any refunds will be processed using the original method of payment without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days of our receipt of your cancellation notice.
9. Device Repair Services
Repairs are carried out at our home workshop or via postal delivery, and will only commence following your explicit authorisation of a provided repair quote. A diagnostic fee of £25 is required, which acts as a deposit toward the cost of repair. This fee also covers the time we spend assessing the device and is non-refundable in the event that you choose not to proceed with the repair or if the device is irreparable.
Repaired devices are warranted for a period of 30 days from the date the device is returned to you or collected, whichever occurs first. The warranty covers recurring faults, accidental damage (as defined in the repair agreement), and faults arising during the repair process. It does not cover pre-existing faults unrelated to the authorised repair. You are responsible for backing up all data prior to submitting your device for repair, and we disclaim all liability for any data loss.
10. Refurbished Devices
Refurbished devices are accurately described with reference to the work undertaken during refurbishment. These devices carry a standard warranty of 90 days and are subject to the statutory 30-day right to reject where the device does not conform to the description provided. No returns for change of mind are offered, except where mandated by statutory rights. These Terms apply to all purchases of refurbished devices, including those made through online marketplaces such as eBay.
11. Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT. Payment is due at the time of purchase, and accepted payment methods include card and PayPal via Stripe or other approved channels.
12. Refunds
Refunds will be issued promptly using the original payment method. Digital subscriptions are eligible for a full refund if cancelled within 14 days of purchase. Refunds for repairs or refurbished devices will only be provided as agreed per repair quote or in accordance with statutory rights.
13. Submission of Intellectual Property
You should not submit ideas, inventions, or works of authorship to us unless accompanied by a signed non-disclosure agreement or intellectual property agreement. Any submission made without such agreement will grant Amethyst IT Solutions LTD a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and distribute the submitted material.
14. Limitation of Liability and Warranties
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. All other services, products, and website content are provided “as is” without warranty. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access to our website, and we disclaim all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profits or data.
Our maximum aggregate liability in relation to any product or service purchased or used, except where prohibited by law, shall be limited to the amount paid for that product or service.
15. Privacy
You are required to provide accurate information when creating accounts or purchasing products. Further details regarding our processing of personal data are provided in our Privacy Policy, which should be read in conjunction with these Terms.
16. Accessibility
We are committed to providing accessible content. Please notify us of any accessibility issues via email or our online contact form, and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues that can be addressed using industry-standard technology.
17. Compliance with Law and Export Restrictions
You may not use our website, services, or products in a manner that violates UK law, export regulations, or the laws of any territory in which access to our services is prohibited.
18. Assignment
You may not assign, transfer, or subcontract any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
19. Termination of Use
We may, at our discretion, suspend or terminate access to our website or services. You will not be entitled to compensation for any loss of access or content.
20. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures to perform obligations arising from causes beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, postal or courier failures, or IT outages.
21. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Amethyst IT Solutions LTD from and against all claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
