4. Daisuke Discord Bot Message Logging

To comply with the Discord Developer Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy includes a description of the logging functionality of the Daisuke Discord bot. The bot is installed in Discord servers with the permission of the server administrators and processes certain message data for moderation and operational purposes.

When a user edits or deletes a message in a server where the bot is active and configured to do so by server administrators:
  • Message Edits: The bot will log both the original message content (where available) and the updated content, together with message identifiers and user identifiers as provided by Discord.
  • Message Deletions: The bot may log the content of messages prior to deletion, along with message identifiers and user identifiers.
These logs are posted to a designated logging channel within the Discord server, as configured by the server administrators. Amethyst IT Solutions LTD does not retain or manage these logs; the responsibility for reviewing, managing, or deleting log messages rests with the server moderation team.

The bot does not log private messages (DMs), and the logged message content is used solely to assist server moderation and maintain operational integrity. Logged content is not used for profiling, marketing, or automated decision-making and is not shared with third parties except where required by law or to comply with platform enforcement obligations.

Users should note that the processing of messages by the bot is governed by this Privacy Policy in conjunction with Discord’s privacy practices as the platform provider.

5. Embedded content from other websites

Articles, posts, or other content on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

6. Lawful Basis for Processing

  • Performance of a contract with you, such as delivering subscriptions, repairs, or refurbished products.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation, including accounting or record-keeping requirements.
  • Legitimate interests, provided these are not overridden by your rights and freedoms, including website analytics and fraud prevention.
  • Explicit consent where required, for example for marketing communications.

  • Marketplaces: For refurbished devices sold via platforms such as eBay, your personal data will be shared only to the extent necessary to complete the transaction.
We do not sell or trade personal data for marketing purposes.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil contractual obligations, comply with statutory obligations, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Once data is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or anonymised.

Logs posted by the Daisuke Discord bot in server channels are not retained by us; management and deletion of these messages are the responsibility of the server moderation team.
